Every move has its own moving parts.

Start with what is moving and where it needs to go. A room-to-room furniture project, help loading a vehicle, and a move between addresses can require different arrangements. Describe the work you have in mind instead of trying to fit it into a package. Include both locations when transport is involved, the number of rooms or major pieces, and the date you are working toward. For a local move, details such as stairs, parking access, and the distance between a doorway and a loading area are just as useful as the mileage.

01 /

A home or apartment move

Build a simple inventory of large furniture and an approximate box count. Identify pickup and destination towns, floors, and any elevators. Flag a lease deadline or building reservation early. Share whether you are looking for loading assistance, unloading assistance, transport, or a combination so the specific scope can be established before making arrangements.

02 /

Furniture & smaller projects

A new sofa, a dining table, or a bedroom set can be a project of its own. Include dimensions and any assembly details, especially if an item must fit around a tight corner. If you are collecting something from a seller or storage unit, identify the pickup conditions and who will provide access.

03 /

Loading, unloading & rearranging

Already have a rental truck or container, or need furniture moved within a property? Say so at the start. Describe the vehicle or container, where it can be positioned, and the pieces involved. Mention unusually heavy or delicate items separately so equipment needs, handling, and the work available can be discussed.

A FEW DETAILS GO A LONG WAY

START WITH
THE RIGHT INFO.

  • List the large furniture, approximate box count, and any fragile or unusually heavy pieces.
  • Include pickup and destination towns, or explain if everything stays at one property.
  • Describe stairs, elevators, door widths, loading areas, and parking restrictions at both ends.
  • State your preferred date and any fixed lease, pickup, or building-access deadlines.
  • Clarify whether you need loading, unloading, transport, rearranging, or a combination of tasks.

Not sure how much you have? A room-by-room list is a helpful place to start. Include the details you know when you request a free estimate.

LET’S CLEAR A FEW THINGS UP

BEFORE YOU
GET STARTED.

01Can I discuss a small move or a few pieces of furniture?

Yes. Describe the pieces, where they are, and where you want them to end up. A smaller project still benefits from clear dimensions and access details. The available work and scheduling need to be confirmed for the specific request.

02What if I already have a truck or moving container?

Include that in your project details and specify whether you need help loading, unloading, or both. Note the vehicle or container size, its location, and whether there is a ramp. This helps distinguish a labor request from one that also needs transportation.

03What should I say about heavy or delicate items?

Identify them individually rather than counting them as ordinary furniture. Dimensions, approximate weight, photos, and the route through the property are useful. Pianos, safes, large glass pieces, and similar items need specific handling arrangements confirmed before they are included.

04Does requesting a free estimate book a moving date?

No. The estimate is free, and the moving date, service scope, price, and any transportation arrangements are confirmed separately with Jason. Include your preferred timing and any flexibility so those details are ready to discuss.
